Data privacy policy

Your privacy and data security are our top priority. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Introduction

This Data Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected by the E-Voting System and how it is used.

Tildai Technologies is committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information during the E-Voting process. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your data. By using this system, you consent to the terms outlined in this policy.

Collection of personal information

We collect Personal Information, including your name, ID No., and contact details, through our E-Voting system. This information is collected during the registration process and may also be obtained from publicly available sources or through partners.

  • Identity information: name, ID number, and other identifying details
  • Contact details: email address, phone number for verification
  • Registration data: information provided during the registration process

Use of personal information

Personal Information is used solely for the purpose of facilitating the E-Voting process. We and our third-party service providers utilize this data to ensure the functionality of our system, fulfill your voting requests, and communicate important updates regarding the voting process. Your information is protected from unauthorized access and processing by our service providers, who adhere to the guidelines outlined in the data protection act.

  • Voting process: facilitating and verifying your vote
  • Communication: sending important updates about the election
  • Security: protecting against fraud and unauthorized access

Your ballot

Your ballot is stored together with your voter account, so the system can stop anyone voting twice. Electoral committee members see vote totals and whether you have voted, but not who you voted for. Only the system administrator can see individual choices.

Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose Personal Information to third-party service providers to facilitate various aspects of the E-Voting process, including but not limited to, payment processing, system infrastructure provision, and customer support. Additionally, any information you voluntarily disclose during the voting process, such as through communication channels within the E-Voting platform, may become publicly accessible.

Important: We never sell your personal information to third parties. Disclosure is limited to what is necessary for the functioning of the voting system.

Other uses and disclosures

Your Personal Information may be used or disclosed as necessary to comply with legal obligations, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, or to fulfill other legitimate interests as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Collection of other information

In addition to Personal Information, we and our third-party service providers may collect Other Information through various means, including cookies and IP addresses, to enhance the functionality and security of our E-Voting system.

  • Security cookies: used to protect your account and detect suspicious activity
  • Performance cookies: help us understand how our system is being used
  • Functionality cookies: remember your preferences and settings

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect system functionality.

By using our E-Voting system, you consent to our data privacy policy and terms of use.
